NIIT IT Curriculum
We have partnered with NIIT for delivering the IT curriculum in the school for students of classes I to VIII. The nGuru IT Wizard Plus software is effectively used for this purpose. At the end of every Scholastic year NIIT awards a certificate of merit to every student. NIIT also provides us the Maths Lab for the students. It helps in better understanding of the concepts of Mathematics.
NIIT & Words Worth
We have partnered with NIIT and Words Worth to setup the English Language Lab which helps in developing and improving the Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing skills of students. It helps them improve their pronunciation and vocabulary.
Apple iPad Integration
With the objective of making learning fun and innovative, and to build a strong technology driven generation, all the teachers use iPads in the classes to teach the students.. The teachers trained on the iPad plan, create and deliver lessons on the iPads which are projected over the Television for children to understand and comprehend better.
Science Olympiad Foundation
To create a healthy spirit of competition in order to prepare students for some of the toughest challenges in the course of their career building, Griffins International School has registered with Science Olympiad Foundation. SOF conducts the biggest Olympiad Exams in Computers, Science, Mathematics and English, enabling students to gauge their performance, compete with peers as well as secure scholarships.
Educational Initiatives (EI)
ASSET is an internationally representative assessment test that checks the depth of students’ understanding of topics. Designed in a multiple choice format, it provides feedback on students’ vocabulary levels, their ability to comprehend texts in various formats and to apply concepts learned in real life situations. The students receive a personalised instructional manual based on the test results, called ASSET My Book and greatly benefit from the individualised analysis and remedial practice questions.
Open Door (IIT Mumbai Alumni)
The Open Door tests conducted by IIT Mumbai Alumni, evaluate the scientific aptitude of the Middle school scholars. It is a wonderful step taken by us to further the cause of academic excellence. The tests are conducted on OMR sheets and the sheets are scanned online. The reports generated are directly mailed to the parents from the server and are very analytical.
